Yet.. Another Chapter

Well Esther had quite an adventurous evening about two weeks ago. Se cut her finger on a can while trying to be helpful by throwing it in the trash. She has now learned what it means to have an "oowee" and she doesn't let us forget about the one on her finger. She will often approach Brandon or myself and show us her "oowee" and even want us to kiss it better. It is so cute.

Two nights after she cut her finger on the can she was "helping" Daddy cook in the kitchen, yes you read that correctly Brandon is the chef of our family, when she reached over and touched the hot pan. Ouch, small burn on the tip of two fingers. But some aloe vera and a lot of love helped rather quickly. Nevertheless, she is having a few unfortunate learning experiences in the kitchen lately.

I am biased. Esther loves her little brother and will often

sit on the couch to talk to or play with him. Enoch likewise

loves his big sister and smiles ever time she comes around

him. I thought this picture was adorable.

We are so excited to have our beautiful little boy here and part of our family!!! I know I am biased, but I must say he is adorable. I thought I was a Mom when Esther was born, but now I am really beginning to understand what being the mother of a family is all about. Learning to balance to children is definitely more challenging, but what a blessing they are and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Enoch is such a wonderful blessing in our lives and his big sister loves to help take care of "baby Enoch", as she call him. What a wonderful girl!! I'm trying to get back into blogging so all who view this can be expecting more posts. I am posting a few pictures of Enoch and over the next week or two will post some more updated ones. We'll keep him!

What about Esther?

With all of this Enoch talk, Esther has been walking around the house saying out loud, "Mom, Dad, Esther". She repeats it over and over. We think she has been doing some kind of equation in her head. Well, I am so impressed with how much she has grown up since the morning she walked into her Mom & Dads room to see a baby in Mom's arms. Weird. This is Esther on her 2nd birthday, last 4th of July. She is gorgeous.

Enoch is here, er.. 2 weeks ago. :)

Well, A new years resolution is a wonderful thing, but mine work a little differently. I wait till the year is up, and then realizing I had utterly failed, I quickly change.
Some of you might have heard, or at least have figured; Enoch was born on the 20th of December. Ann is amazing as always, and I am so proud of her. She will eventually find out I am talking about her, because I think this blogging thing is something she wants to do, I just like messing with the code.
Anyways, back to Ann. The doctor came to the house at around 2:00 AM, and Enoch was delivered at 5:20AM.
Anyhow, Ann will post some pictures. Happy New Year everybody.

BABY BOY!!!!

As Brandon has already said we haven't been keeping up on our blogging efforts lately. As most of you know we are due to have a baby boy on December 4th, so Esther will have a new baby brother!! We are so excited to welcome him into this world and to see our family growing. It's amazing what beautiful gifts our children are as they enter or prepare to enter the world. We love our little boy so much already.

Obviously me and Ann have not been into blogging. We are not exactly sure either, whether it is just to time consuming for us, or if we just lack the blogging edge, but nevertheless I thought I would just throw up a recent scene of Esther playing.

Esther loves baby signing time and sings the theme song for it throughout the day. Sometimes for fun. Some times because it is the tune she has in her head and sometimes even to comfort herself. This video was so adorable I thought I would share it with all of you.

Like mother like daughter. Esther has a rocking panda, instead of a rocking horse, and she absolutely loves to rock on it. She also loves to cuddle with the soft fur of the panda. Yes, she is going to be just like her mother and adore pandas!! It the cute, cuddly black and white bear that is the exotic pet of our home. Does anyone want to join our panda club. Karen? Anybody?

Esther's birthday was July 4th and she is all decked out for the occasion with her flag T-shirt compliments of Grandma Garner. She is also very fond of her red, white and blue flowers received from her proud daddy! She really enjoys flowers as does her mother and so her Dad wanted to be sure that she received some of her very own flowers on her very first birthday.

Esther received her very own baby swimming pool from mom and dad which she really enjoyed playing in on her birthday. We can't believe she is one now, boy how the days and months flew by. Her adorable swimming suit was a gift, one of the many might I add, given to Esther by her Grandma Garner. Isn't that inquiring face precious. Aside from eating and maybe watching baby Einstein, swimming and bathing are favorite activities of hers. Esther never tires of the water.

For her birthday Grandma Garner gave Esther a wooden ring toy that Esther is really enjoying even to this day. She loves to pull all of the rings off and then try to put them back on. Also, as you can see in this first picture she really thinks the wood is quite tasty. However, she is also teething and may find comfort on sucking on the cool wood of the toy. This is a wonderful fine motor activity and she is able to learn about colors at the same time!! Thanks Grandma Garner!!!

Here Esther is patiently waiting to begin opening her presents and really curious as to why everyone is so camera happy. You capture super sweet poses like this one when you can, because everyone knows how quickly the little one move from one position to the next. Good thing the birthday camera crew stood ready for every adorable shot. I must admit that I don't know who was more excited to actually open the gifts Esther of her Aunt Whitney, pictured here. At any rate everyone had a blast and the best part is that Esther's birthday gets celebrated with parades, fireworks and fun every year with no effort on mom and dad's part. I bet you are all jealous.

Wow, I can't believe it, Esther is 15 months old and growing fast. She fall into the 90th percentile for her height and she seems to be getting taller every day. Her hair is slowing changing from blonde to mostly brown but she still has her beautiful blue eyes. As you can see in the picture from the last post she has a gorgeous smile. She is a very happy girl who loves to play whenever she possibly can. She is walking along everything now and will take seven to eight steps independently. She will be walking any day!!

As for Brandon and myself, we remain proud parents and a happy couple. This semester is extremely busy with Brandon taking fourteen credits at ASU and working at UPS. I took the semester off to focus in on exactly what I want to accomplish as far as a degree is concerned. Brandon is taking three Hebrew classes. It's tough but he loves it! I will be posting pictures and videos from recent events so be prepared for what is coming soon!

Dressed in white

Due to the heat this summer, we have been dressing Esther in white onesies for bedtime.(She is like her dad, sweats when the temperature breaks 80)

The most enjoyable element to this white apparel is that every morning, Esther resembles an angel. Her bright white onesie, with her gorgeous blue eyes.

Yet another chapter?

How often when reading a book do you get comfortable and all of the sudden turn the page, only to see that the chapter is ending. More often probably, is that you skim ahead a few pages to see how much of the current chapter you have left.

We are living a short chapter book it seems. So we decided that since life is moving to quickly, and our Esther is growing so fast, we would rather work on a web log of our family and the fun and games involved there. Dont get me wrong, Esther is amazing. But I dont think she wants all the attention, and we are leaving room for future characters.
